The Taipei Biotech Awards ceremony was held on September 24th, where Professor Tzu-Bi Huang from the Department of Plant Pathology at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) and her team won the Excellence Award in the Technology Transfer Cooperation category for their project titled "The Diverse Applications of Carbon-Neutral Probiotics in Agricultural Green Circulation." This is the only team to receive an award in the field of agricultural biotechnology. The research team has successfully identified a versatile strain, Bacillus subtilis 151B1, with practical applications in plant and animal health, ecological restoration, carbon reduction, and green cycles.
