Product Description
Product Description:
DIACAL OT is a ultra-fine calcium carbonate which has 50 nm of primary particle size. These particles are surface coated with resin
acids in order to improve dispersion property at the mixing stage with organic materials. DIACAL OT nano calcium carbonate will
enhance the mechanical strength of polymer and other organic materials when used. DIACAL OT nano calcium carbonate is suitable
for systems which chemical structure properties are bulkier and non-linear, and fulfill high viscosity requirements.
Specifications:
- Whiteness Bulk Density (g/mL): 0.78 max.
- Surface Coating: Rosin Acid
- Oil Absorption (mL/100 g): 25 ~ 35
- CaCO Content (%): 95 min.
- Moisture Content (%): 1.50 max
- pH Value: 8.4 ~ 9.1(%): 86 min.
Compound Guide:

- Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) : Show satisfactory results.
- Reclaimed Rubber: Show satisfactory results.
Product Usage Example:
Usage of DIACAL OT nano calcium carbonate in industrial safety shoes
DIACAL OT surface treated with rosin acid, greatly enhances the affinity of calcium carbonate particles with the rubber matrix, which
allows better dispersion and adhesion properties. This allows the rubber matrix to have high loadings of calcium carbonate but without sacrificing the inherent quality properties such as rubber strength.

DIACAL OT nano calcium carbonate is surface treated with resin acid, depending on the solvent system of paint manufactured, DIACAL OT is compatible with many products in the market. Addtionof calcium carbonate can aid in modifying rheology features, and it is a good filler to lower corsts. DIACAL OT is lighter than ground calcium carbonate or light calcium carbonate, costs less than titanium dioxide, and have low bulk density therefore able to reduce volume formulation costs. |
