Microbial fermentation products
Beneficial soil microorganisms are key to promoting plant health and soil fertility. These microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and actinomycetes, can decompose organic matter and promote the release and absorption of nutrients.
Description
For example, phosphate-solubilizing bacteria can break down insoluble phosphates in the soil, releasing phosphorus that plants can absorb, thereby improving nutrient use efficiency. Nitrogen-fixing bacteria can convert nitrogen from the air into a form usable by plants, while mycorrhizal fungi extend the root system, increasing the absorption of nutrients and water.
Moreover, microorganisms can inhibit pathogens, reducing the occurrence of diseases, and improve soil structure, enhancing water retention and aeration. They also promote the production of plant growth hormones, strengthen crops’ stress resistance, and help reduce the impact of pollutants on the soil.
Since 2019, Diamond Quantum has been engaged in the research and development of beneficial microorganisms for agricultural use. Collaborating with academic institutions in Taiwan, they have transferred key microorganisms, including Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus siamensis, and Streptomyces. These microorganisms play multiple roles in agriculture, such as promoting plant growth, enhancing soil health, and inhibiting pathogens.
Diamond Quantum has applied these microorganisms to the formulation of organic fertilizers and microbial fertilizers, providing farmers with diverse solutions to address various cultivation challenges.
